Floral arrangements are a traditional part of a funeral service. It is common for families to select a spray of flowers that stay on the casket for the duration of the service.

Following the service, the flowers will often remain with the casket. Sometimes however, the family elect to take them home, donate them to a resthome or Hospice, or to place them on another grave.
